Terms and Conditions, Return/Refund Policy & Delivery Information

Our Goal: To offer our customers high quality, unique products such as children's dressing gowns, bathrobes, and towelling robes, children’s beach robes and towelling poncho's from companies here in the UK and “the other side of the pond”.

At the moment these include CozyBear, Powell Craft, Mitty James, Giggle Giggle, Starblu, JennyJo, Mini Vanilla and Darcy Brown. However, more brands will be added as the website expands.  Fabrics will include a selection of micro fleece, cotton, and linen to towelling.

If you provide a valid email address, you will receive a confirmation email updating you on the status of your order and when your goods have been despatched. We obtain receipt of postage but do not include a signed for service as standard, so if you choose not to upgrade to recorded delivery, you will have to take up any non receipt of items with the post office.

100% Cotton products: These do have a degree of shrinkage. The result of NORMAL EXPECTED SHRINKAGE or Abuse/Misuse these products WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. Please make sure that all items are laundered in exactly in accordance with the Manufacturers instructions on the label.

 Please also heed label warnings such as KEEP AWAY FROM FIRE

To avoid risk of suffocation, care should be taken with the plastic bags used for the packing and posting children’s dressing gowns.

PLASTIC BAGS ARE NOT TOYS and as such should be kept out of reach of babies and young children.

Cancellation of orders: If for any reason you cancel your order before we dispatch then payment for the order will be refunded in full minus the costs of Paypal charges already incurred.   Once your order has been dispatched, you are no longer able to cancel it, but can return it to us in an unworn, unwashed and undamaged condition, with tags still in place, within 7 days of receipt and receive a refund of the cost of the goods.

With this in mind, it is wise to make sure that you are completely satisfied with the garment before removing any labels what so ever.

Our promise: We guarantee to refund or exchange any item that you are not delighted with.

Returns/exchanges: Please inform us within 48 hours and all products to be returned must be carefully repackaged in their original packing. We will refund any item returned to us within 7 days of receipt. If you need to return all/part of your order for size/item exchange or refund purposes, please email Kids Gown's n Robes with details of exchange required.

Please note that exchanges will incur a return carriage cost of £5.00 in order to return your exchanged item. Please note that we don’t supply goods 'On Approval'. We will only refund the cost of delivery if the item is defective.

We suggest using an insured service/recorded delivery to return goods to us, as we cannot be held accountable for items that do not reach us.

Delivery Information: All orders received are generally despatched within 5 working days (most leave sooner). We will contact you if for any reason this will take longer and give an estimated delivery date. However, we cannot be responsible for delays in courier delivery times, acts of war, terrorism or natural disaster or seasonal occurrences (i.e. Christmas/Easter) or delivery holdups to the customer, due to circumstances which may be outside our control, e.g. Industrial Strike, severe weather conditions, International delivery services, acts of war, terrorism, natural disaster or seasonal occurrences.

Postage and Packing: All postage and packing is included in the price shown on the website, so there are no extra's in this respect.

Prices: Goods are charged at price shown on the product pages on the date the customer places the order. Prices are correct at time of publication. Errors and omissions are excepted. Orders will be dealt with at our printed prices, otherwise, in the case of any unexpected change in price; you will be notified and asked if you wish to reconsider your order before buying.

Handmade Dressing Gowns and Bathrobes: The features of the garments on handmade dressing gowns, bath and beach robes i.e. style, zips, buttons, dimensions and weight of the garments may differ slightly as we depend on items availability and understanding that these garments are handmade and not mass produced. Our manufacturers reserve the right to make changes to the design for technical or practical reasons.

Complaints: If we should receive a grievance about any part of our service, by phone or e-mail, then it will be handled promptly (we will reply within 2 working days). It will then be dealt with just between you and ourselves effectively.

Pay Pal Shopping Cart: We offer secure online shopping with Pay Pal shopping cart, as we appreciate that too much information is not a good thing, particularly when shopping online.

You can shop with Pay Pal without opening an account or sharing your financial details or any other sensitive information. However, you will need to allow popups on this website to allow Pay Pal to open into a new window.
